Major Responsibilities:
Business Role
Manage the commercial relationship with contracted Air Providers; sell to potential customers, maintain and up-sell to existing airline customers, develop and implement marketing strategies; run projects to improve departmental processes related to customers and co-ordination of airline sales activities.
Responsibilities
1. ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
- Maintain and develop existing business
- Cross-sell new Amadeus products to airline customers
- Secure content in Global Distribution System
- Regular reporting on customer evolution and product requirements
- Hold regular bilateral meetings with the top accounts and at Airline Forums
- Post sales commercial escalation point for problem solving and product implementations
in order to retain existing business and develop incremental revenues with existing customers.

2. SALES MANAGEMENT
- Negotiate and contract new business for all airline relevant Amadeus business lines (mainly distribution and IT), also with partner companies
- Up- and cross selling of Amadeus products to airline customers
- Plan sales leads in conjunction with Amadeus stakeholders, execute and report accordingly,

3. CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
- Manage and control existing contracts and negotiate new contracts with airline providers
- Co-ordinate internally with corresponding Amadeus stakeholders standard contract deviations,
in order to ensure contract compliance by both sides, secure and increase Amadeus revenues

4. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
In close coordination with ABG and other internal departments analyse the airline industry and market trends, competition, new players and assess business needs of the customer. Identify business opportunities for Amadeus and generate sales leads. Report on actual and potential business risks, gather customer requirements, provide specific information and follow/up on developments.

Requirements:
Education
Degree in Business Administration or equivalent. Master Degree will be an asset.
Experience
2-3 years relevant experience in working for a GDS or an airline distribution department. Sales experience is an asset.
Business Understanding
Knowledge of the Air Travel Industry

- Creation of Business cases
