LESA SACCOS LTD is a registered Savings and Credit Cooperative Society whose main objective is to mobilize savings from members and in return provide credit facilities. It is an employee-based SACCOS located in Dar es salaam, which was established in February 201 0 as per the requirements of the Co-operative Societies ACT No.6 of 2013.
LESA SACCOS intends to recruit a full time FINANCE and ADMINISTRATION MANAGER and one LOAN OFFICER.
POST - LOAN OFFICER
Loan officer reports to the Board through the Finance and Administration Manager and he/she is responsible for all matters relating to loan portfolio. This position is subject to a probation period of 6 months.
Job Responsibilities: '
• To build and maintain a substantial and high quality loan portfolio.
• To orient clients to the particular loan products and services.
• To process loan applications and verify client's ability to repay.
• To manage loan disbursements and monitor & collect loan repayments documents.
• To provide quality and good customer service to clients.
• To prepare loans monthly, quarterly and annual loans reports.
• To accomplish day to day activities as per the responsibilities.
• Follow up on loan defaulters and initiate loan recovery action.
• Other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Academic Qualification & Additional Requirements
• Advance Diploma/Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team and pressure environment.
• Able to use ms word, and excel. Demonstrated ability to use SACCOS Financial software will be an added advantage.
• Energetic people, especially youth and women between 18-35 are encouraged to apply.
• At least three years experience in any financial institutions/Microfinance Sectors especially in SACCOS.
• Experience in providing quality customer services.
• Advance Diploma/Degree in Finance or Accounting.
