Finance Officer Wanted at African Union

THIS POSITION IS GOING TO BE BASED OUT OF OUR HEADQUARTERS IN ADDIS ABABA

OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced individual with excellent skills in budgeting and financial management  to hold the position of Finance Officer in the African Court on Human and People's Rights.

NATURE OF THE JOB

Among other tasks, the job holder will mainly coordinate the preparation, execution and evaluation of the budget and provide necessary assistance to service users. He/she will monitor budget implementation and determine/recommend reallocation/virement of funds when and where necessary and ensure compliance with appropriate guidelines relating to such transfers.

REQUIREMENT

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of a University degree in Finance or Accounting or Business Administration or related disciplines. An advanced University degree or a relevant professional postgraduate diploma in the field will be an added advantage. He/She  must have a minimum of six (6) years relevant professional experience in a similar position, preferably in an international organization.
