Candidates must specify which research group they wish to join and identify potential supervisor(s) on their application form. Candidates are encouraged to discuss their research proposal with a member of academic staff specialising in their research area.
The Award
Queen Mary Studentships are open to suitably qualified candidates from the UK, EU and overseas for full-time study. The Studentships consist of the full cost of (home or overseas) fees and £16,296 a year for maintenance for 3 years.

Candidate Profile
To apply, you will normally have a first degree with first class honours (or equivalent) and a Master's degree at distinction level, in business/management or a related discipline. Applicants are required to have an IELTS overall score of 7 at the time of application.

To apply for a 1+3 or +3 studentship with LISS DTP, you must simultaneously complete the online apllication to join an MRes or the PhD programme in the School of Business and Management. Please ensure that you complete your Case for Support form in collaboration with your proposed primary supervisor. We advise that you aim to submit your admissions application two weeks in advance of the 31 January deadline for your Case for Support form and references are received in a timely fashion.
