MORUWASA, is an expanding Autonomous Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority, which is responsible for supplying of clean, safe water as well as provision of wastewater disposal services for Morogoro Municipality. The general and guidelines to run Authority are provided by the Ministry of Water, EWURA and Board of directors
The Authority is looking for competent, dynamic, energetic, committed, experienced and well qualified Tanzanian who is capable of embracing and driving change in MORUWASA to fill the following vacant posts.
Water Network And Maintenance Technician II (2 POSTS):
WORKING EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Holder of Diploma! FTC in Civil/Sanitary Engineering or equivalent qualification with three years work experience in water distribution Network and computer application skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepares documentation of all water customers.
Ensures that all water leakages are repaired timely.
Investigates causes of water loss and makes necessary rectification
Ensures that new customers get water connections as scheduled. '
Monitors and reports unauthorized water connections and water distribution faults.
Reports sewerage pipe faults to responsible officers.
Coordinates water disconnections for those with debts and reconnections for those , who clear their debts.
Attends to customers complains regarding water shortage and other problems.
Ensures that all customers get water supplies according to the rationing programs.
Conducts open performance review and appraisal of subordinates and gives feed back
Develops individual performance objectives, targets and standards in consultation with the immediate superior as part of performance agreement
Performs any other duties as may be assigned by Water Network Engineer.
: GENERAL CONDITIONS:
i. All applicants must be Citizen of Tanzania and not above 40 years old.

Testimonials, partial transcripts and result slips will not be accepted. "
Presentation of forged academic certificates and other information in the CV will necessitate to legal action.
Applicants employed in the public service should route their application letters through their respective employers.
Applicants should indicate three reputable referees with their reliable contacts.
The attachments shall include one recent passport size photos; certified copies of academic
certificates and applicant’s birth certificate.

All vacant post will be appointed for four (4) years term, renewable once upon satisfactory
performance as may be determined by the Board
