Tanzania Associations of Accountants is an institutions established to unite the accountants to protect their interest and promote accountancy professionals interest in Tanzania.  It was established and registered in 1983 under the society ordnance 1954 as members preventative body of all professional accountant and spring accountants registered and working in Tanzania

JOB PROFILE

The CEO is the overall in charge responsible in seeking the strategic and day to day operations of the Tanzania Associations of Accounts to ensure strategic goals are achieved swiftly and efficiently.  The CEO SHALL be the Chairperson of the secretariat to various of the government

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLE

To periodically the Executive Committee and the Government Council of the TAA on strategic and operations undertaken plans objectives and policy issues
Custodian of all actions plans and recommendations from the Executive Committee and Governing Council and ensure the some are implement and tracked it resolutions
To ensure timely reporting on financial and operational performance the Executive Committee and the Governing Council
Managing finance of the institute and liaison with the extern auditors
Establishing and maintain sound the relationship with other professional bodies regulatory and stake holders
Providing human resource management including succession planning for the team
Perform any other task assigned by the executive Committee and Governing Council
 Manage the secretariat on various meeting seminars and day to day activities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Bachelor degree in business administration’s/marketing/accountancy or finance related field with at least 1 year work experience in the senior positions  either public sector
Excellent organizations and communications skills and ability to work independently
Fluency in English and Kiswahili
Experience in financial analysis cash flow analysis and developing budget
High level of the integrity and business acumen including the responsibility to maintain confidently
Ability to be a change agency, and drive institute strategies administer and supervisor subordinates
