ICL SF sales and marketing manager – Tanzania

ICL Specialty Fertilizers offers a range of specialty products that includes innovative technologies such as controlled and slow release fertilizers and a leading range of soluble for the specialty agricultural market. In the ornamental and turf & amenity market we complete our offer with plant protection products and growth enhancers.

 

ICL Specialty Fertilizers (SF) is looking for Sales and marketing manager responsible for business growth and business operation in Tanzania.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. To develop a full business and sales plan and drive full implementation
2. To establish contacts with key players, government offices, agriculture unions and manage relationships with business partners, and NGO officials in relations to ICLSF Businesses and Projects
3. To create/maintain a distribution network
4. To manage the team in Tanzania
5. To explore long-term opportunities and synergies
6. To identify market failures and bottlenecks and find the proper solutions

Requirements:

• Education:  An academic degree in Agronomy (Advantage), or Law, or Business management or Economy
• Professional Experience:  At least 3 years' experience in Tanzania or Kenya in sales and marketing management position
• Experience working for a global company is an advantage
• Critical knowledge: Excellent knowledge of the regional business environment/markets including experience with contracts and negotiations

1. Experience with Agriculture supplies businesses – an advantage.
