DRIVER – Institute of Finance Management

The Institute of Finance Management was established by Act No. 3 of 1972 to provide training, research and consultancy services in the fields of banking, insurance, social protection, taxation, accountancy and related disciplines. The Institute is accredited by NACTE.

The Institute of Finance Management (IFM) now seeks to recruit qualified Tanzanians to fill the following vacant positions;

7.1.0 DRIVER GRADE II – DSM (1POST)

7.1.1 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Holder of Secondary Education Certificate and Class C valid Driving License with at least five (5) years relevant work experience.

7.1.2 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(i) Drives vehicles;
(ii) Responsible for safe – keeping of the vehicle and tools entrusted on him/her;

(iii) Maintains cleanliness of the vehicle and tools;
(iv) Reports promptly any defect or problems detected in the vehicle;
(v) Performs messengerial duties such as dispatching documents/letters, collecting mails, photocopying of documents;
(vi) Keeps records of movement of vehicles (logbook)
(vii) Ensures proper use of the machines;
(viii) Carries out diagnoses of minor problems requiring immediate repair;

7.1.4 REMUNERATION

This position holds salary scale of POSS 2.1 and other fringe benefits as per Institute’s Incentive Scheme.

viii. Testimonials, Partial transcripts and results slips will not be accepted. 

ix. Presentation of forged academic certificates and other information in the CV will 

necessitate to legal action, so you are warned.

x. Applicants for senior positions currently employed in the public service should route their application letters through their respective employers.
