Description
Purpose of the job:
- In close cooperation with the Staffing Manager, implements and maintains the Bank's staffing policies and instruments.
- Manages the staffing processes for positions with high administrative content.
- Cooperates with other HR areas in support of formulation and implementation of HR policies and collaboratively contributes to general HR matters.
Principal accountabilities:
Staffing
- Handles independently the complete end-to-end staffing process for positions with high administrative content: advises line management on sourcing strategy and action plan; manages the recruitment, selection and employment processes.
- Works in close cooperation with, and supports the Staffing Manager in implementing and maintaining the Bank's staffing policies and instruments.
- In coordination with the Staffing Manager and the HR Officer in charge of recruitment administration, contributes to the development of staffing tools and processes for the continuous improvement of the function's effectiveness.
- Serves as a back/up for the Staffing Manager and if required, also for the HR Officer in charge of recruitment administration.
HR operations and policies
- Supports the HR operations team with the implementation of staffing decisions and policies.
- Contributes to other HR areas' initiatives towards policy formulation and implementation, and collaboratively addresses general HR matters.
Special projects
- Participates in departmental and/or bank-wide projects when and if required.
Qualification and work experience required:
- Minimum of a bachelor degree in business, human resources or a related field
- Minimum of five years of relevant work experience in recruitment ideally gained in an international environment/organisation

- Computer literate, able to multitask, team player, tactful, customer-oriented
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Excellent interviewing skills and ability to assess talent
- Committed to the highest level of discretion in all activities
- Strong interaction and diplomatic skills
- Basic knowledge of project management
- Produces high-quality work, especially under stress, while remaining calm, efficient, flexible and polite
- Able to prioritise
- Excellent written and oral English skills essential
- Good communication skills in German required
