Interims Receptionist (temporary for 6 months)
Job Description / Responsibility
- Overall management of the reception and switchboard
- Meeting rooms management (reservation, preparation etc.)
- Welcomes on-site visitors, determines natures of business and announces visitors to appropriate personnel
- Monitor visitor access
- Handle visa inquires, and manage interviews appointments for visa applicants
- Assist/perform other clerical duties as requested by the Administration Manager
Requirements
The Receptionist will be the first contact point for our visitors/callers and must have a very good understanding and appreciation and commitment to “customer service”.
Education
- Age 25+
- University Degree or secondary school with vocational training in office/secretariat management
- Good command of written and spoken English and Kiswahili
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience
- Previous work experience in a similar position is an advantage
Other skills
- Excellent oral communicator: speaks clearly and persuasively in a positive or negative situation
- Able to listen and get clarifications if required; responds well to questions
- Good IT skills, able to work with Ms Office (Outlook, Ms Word and Excel )
