Team Leader - Transport Expert , Tanzania

• Project: Capacity Building of the Transport Sector in Tanzania.
  The overall objective of the project is to increase efficiency, effectiveness and accountability of the transport sector in Tanzania as a whole and to facilitate adoption of SWAPs (Sector Wide Approaches) by improving the capacity and competences of the transport sector stakeholders.
• Duration: 36 months
• Education: Relevant University Masters degree related to transport/transport economy and skills in project management and experience in formulation or evaluation of transport policy. She/he should be registered with a relevant professional body.
• Experience: - At least 10 years of experience in the area relevant to the assignment, including at least 2 successful assignments as a team leader in similar EDF funded projects;
  - Extensive experience in designing and/or implementing SWAPs/ sector policy support programmes in transport;
  - Experience in managing institutional support activities (at least 3 assignments of that nature).
