Mulrany International has contributed in alleviating the health care burden for the vulnerable populations in South Sudan, Somalia and Kenya through provision of primary health care (PHC) and nutrition.

Position: Nutritionist South Sudan
Reporting to the Regional Director, the nutritionist will be expected to display professionalism in executing his/her duties.
Responsibilities:
To support in the supervision of nutrition programs in Raja County.
Support the County MOH in monitoring implementation of nutrition programs
Ensure the DHIS and MRP data bases for Nutrition are maintained and updated Monthly.
Assist in ensuring administration of medical and nutritional treatment: proper dosages and administration, hygiene, storage and shelf-life.
Assist in ensuring the proper implementation of anthropometric measurements (height, weight, MUAC and oedema) and, Demonstrate proper techniques when errors are observed.
Assist in ensuring nutrition program is implemented through staff with the necessary qualification & experience in the field.
Assist in ensuring timely, proper and quality nutrition supplies, drugs and equipment in nutrition programs.
Follow all procedures provided by Program Coordinator and Regional Director.
To make recommendations both in terms of the way forward for the current Mulrany International South Sudan programmes to be scaled up and/or improved and eventually taken over by the Government, as well as how to address national level barriers and opportunities.

Qualifications:
Hands on experience in community-based nutrition programming and 2 years in Community-based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) is an advantage.
Diploma in nutritional health or related field.
Work experience in rural based communities in South Sudan is an advantage.
Working knowledge in spoken and written English. Knowledge of Arabic will be an added advantage
Willingness to work in harsh conditions with minimal basic social services.
A team-player, creative, innovative and able to mobilize diverse resources for results.
