Monitoring and Evaluation, Biodiversity, Tourism, and Environment , Mozambique

International Business and technical Consultants, Inc. (IBTCI) is seeking team leaders to conduct performance evaluations of USAID/Mozambique Biodiversity and Tourism Portfolio project. The period of performance is in two months, and the places of performance are USA and Mozambique. Senior Environmental Specialist (Team Leader) - S/he will serve as the expert in evaluating biodiversity conservation in developing countries. - Advanced degree in a related field; - Strong Management skill; - Experience with USAID evaluation standards and practices; - Experience managing and coordinating evaluation process, especially with biodiversity, tourism, and other environmental projects; - Proven experience compiling Final Evaluation reports; - Regional experience (Southern or East Africa) strongly preferred; - Fluent in English; Knowledge of Portuguese preferred; - Experience with tourism, biodiversity, and park management preferred. Local Regional-Tourism Evaluator/Specialist (Mid-Level) - S/he will have extensive knowledge of tourism data and national surveys conducted in Mozambique - Experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative data - Southern or East African Experience - Expertise in socioeconomic analysis - Must have expertise in tourism - Preferred experience in biodiversity conservation and/or park management - Must be fluent in English and able to employ Portuguese professionally.
