Global professional services firm Assurance Partner Zambia Our client is a global leader in professional services with over 100,000 people in over 100 countries. They are committed to the pursuing the highest levels of integrity, quality, and professionalism in delivering a broad inventory of services, and they are also one of the largest professional services firms in Africa. As might be expected of such a player, their services span assurance, tax, advisory and transactions.
As part of an Africa-wide investment plan, the firm is investing in growing its capability in Zambia. Supported by the South Africa practice and Central Africa leadership, the firm has a significant presence on the ground of junior and developing practitioners, and is drawing on some senior level leadership capability from both South Africa and Zimbabwe. With a strong assurance client base drawn from clients in a variety of sectors, it is now essential that the practice further grows its local team in a number of service lines.
The firm is seeking to recruit a Partner to serve existing clients, and to help in the growth of their assurance presence in the Zambia market. This person will be able to draw on the local team as well as resource, expertise and insight from colleagues from South Africa and across Africa. You will be a qualified accountant with experience of leading audits in a mature market or with a well established firm in an emerging market (most likely a Big 4 accounting firm or reputable lower tier accounting firm). You will be comfortable with business development, client service and relationship management. You’ll have a good understanding of developments in the profession, and above all will have a strong connection with Zambia by virtue of birth and / or heritage on which to draw.
