JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
Position: Associate Monitoring & Learning and Results Manager
Reporting to Monitoring, Learning & Results Manager
The candidate should have experience in project monitoring and evaluation, both qualitative and quantitative.
He/she must be well organized, flexible, and accustomed to working closely with diverse people and organizations.
He/she will be responsible for supporting multiple monitoring and evaluation projects simultaneously, liaising with government partners and research institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of Girl Hub Rwanda’s monitoring and learning strategy.
- Support the development of programme log frames.
- Liaise with government ministries to secure permission for research.
- Maintain database of programme results.
- Advise on the use of data and evidence in communications and programme work.
- Build Girl Hub’s links with research and knowledge organizations in Rwanda and the government statistics office, to ensure Girl Hub has credible and up to date knowledge of the situation of girls in Rwanda.
- Coordinate research schedule with international consultants.
- Ensure Girl Hub Rwanda records the process of innovation and its learning in respect to each of its initiatives.
- Work closely with the Girl Hub Rwanda Operations and Finance team to ensure that the M&L strategy is costed and resourced.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in evaluation, international development, or related field.
- At least 3 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation.
- Proven experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. Familiarity with GIS a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, including exemplary written English.
- Experience working in cross-cultural environment.
Languages
Must be fluent in English and Kinyarwanda. Working knowledge of French is an added advantage.
