Public Health SME—Consulting Opportunity Worldwide Position Summary: Pact seeks international health and capacity building professionals to provide LTTA or STTA for an anticipated contract providing technical assistance for Global Fund grants. We are seeking mid- and senior-level specialists and professionals with experience in developing countries, flexible availability and able to travel internationally on very short notice to provide long or short term capacity development and technical assistance to Global Fund Country Coordinating Mechanisms (CCMs) and Principal Recipients (PRs). Pact is interested in consultants capable of providing technical assistance in the following health areas- HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria, most at risk populations (MARPS), harm reduction, governance, training, M&E and gender.
Note: This position is for inclusion in an upcoming proposal submission and is contingent on award of funding.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• Understanding of and previous experience with large international, multi-donor, health grants; Global Fund experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating difficult topics with senior-level officials, including Ministries, Government Officials, local service providers.
• Demonstrated experience building the capacity of multiple stakeholders including NGOs, CSOs, donors, local government and civil society.
• Previous experience with HIV/AIDS, TB or malaria activities. Additional qualifications in health program management and monitoring and evaluation, organizational development and communications are a plus.
• Advanced degree in relevant subject;
• 5- 15 years’ experience delivering capacity building and technical assistance in relevant areas to developing countries;
• Work experience in developing countries;
• Must be fluent in English. Fluency in other languages a plus, especially French, Spanish, and Arabic
