The Ministry of East African Community (MINEAC) would like to recruit competentpermanent staff as follows:
Professional in Charge of Tourism And Wildlife Management
- To follow up on Council Decisions data base and develop a Matrix of Implementation on regular basis;
- Provide updates on Projects and Programmes on Tourism and Wildlife;
- Assist to explore relevant research areas to enhance improvement of standards in the Hospitality Industry;
- Liaise with Rwanda Development Board and department of Information and Public Relations to update the Public on Tourism and Wildlife issues;
- Assist in development of project proposals and exploring funding opportunities for tourism development and Wildlife Management;
- Work in close collaboration with Tourism website officer in updating the Ministry of EAC website on regular basis;
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Minister or by the Permanent Secretary;
- Report all activities to the Director of Economic, Infrastructures and Productive Sector.
Masters Degree in Tourism, Wildlife Management, Business Administration Public Administration or Bachelors Degree in Tourism, Wildlife Management, Business Administration, Public Administration or a related field of study or any other related field with 2 years working experience.
Good interpersonal skills, Computer literate, result oriented, good organizational skills, good oral and written communication skills.
