Applications are invited for a post-doctoral Research Associate position funded by the University of Southampton to work on molecular dynamics simulations of small molecule permeation across bacterial membranes.
The post holder will be responsible for performing free energy calculations to calculate the barriers to permeation for small molecules across the E.coli outer membrane.
The successful applicant will have a recent PhD in computational chemistry/biophysics and experience with the GROMACS simulation package.
