The Department of Politics and International Relations, in association with St Peter's College, is seeking to appoint a full-time fixed term Departmental Lecturer in the Politics of Africa. This is a fixed term appointment commencing 1 September 2011 for three years.
The role will involve taking on teaching and supervision responsibilities for both the Department of Politics and International Relations and St Peter's College, together with undertaking independent research.
The successful candidate will possess a completed doctorate in a relevant field, the ability to teach at both graduate and undergraduate level, and a proven ability to undertake independent research in a relevant area. Excellent communication and IT skills are also essential.
