General Manager - AAR Insurance Tanzania

Requirements: 

• Bachelor of commerce (Insurance) or any business related degree from a recognized university
• A post graduate degree in Business Management will be an added advantage
• Ten years working experience at least 7 years in senior management
• Deep understanding of technical insurance principles with different aspects of the principle Officer's role, Tanzania Insurance Regulatory framework, agency, management, insurance products and market players
• Good working experience of MS Office is a must
• Demonstrable commercial acumen

Job Description:

• Play the role of principle officer of the company and ensure all operations of the business are compliant as per the insurance Act and other statutory provisions
• Drive the Insurance operations to achieve various business targets in line with the budget including revenue, profitability members and the market share growth
• Oversee the treasury management role to ensure sound return on the various investment portfolios in place
• Design high performance agency and alternative distribution channels models to achieve set business target
• Design suitable product, enhance existing products portfolio and where possible drive their harmonization across the AAR group
