Kilombero Sugar Company, the largest producer of sugar in the country, is inviting a dynamic and result oriented person to fill a vacancy of Store Administrator existing in the Company. This position involves execute inventory control measures to ensure the company minimizes stock holding and maximizes stock system and paperwork accuracy .. The role carries responsibility for working with purchasing, goods inwards and customer issuing to ensure necessary functions are carried out correctly.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Holder of an Advance Diploma or Degree in : Procurement, inventory or related field. Suitable background experience in inventory management of minimum 2 years. General skills in purchasing and stores, communication, supervisory skills and computer literacy are imperative for this position.
Tasks:
1.Develop the company's inventory management strategy with the aim of controlling costs within budgetary limits, generating savings, rationalizing inventory and maximizing available working capital
2.Manage and maintain the company's material and stocked product inventory including stock profiles and stock locations
4.Facilitate perpetual inventory stock counting and conduct inventory accuracy checks
5.Ensure materials are ready and available for production as and when required.
6.Working with customers to ensure that key processes are running efficiently and cost-effectively
7.Performs all tasks according to Kilombero Sugar's Quality, Safety, Health and Environment policies and
procedures.
8.Perform all tasks with "Awareness" towards the prevention of any forms of pollution to the surrounding and environment.
9.Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved.
10.Have a detailed understanding of MRP and inventory control/management systems and ERP.
10. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Line Management.
TERMS OF SERVICE: The successful candidate will be engaged on a permanent contract.
REMUNERATION: Attractive package will be offered to the right candidate commensurate with qualification and experience.
