Project Officer- Quality Improvement Health Plan (based in Kilimanjaro) ,
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Conduct safe Care assessments at health care providers within the ,program and other PharmAccess programs
Prepare quality' improvement plans and share, with respective
providers'
Assist Providers on implementations of Quality. Improvement plan
Coordinate Quality Improvement implementation activities across multiple stakeholders. ,
Develop relationships with Providers to facilitate Quality Improvement initiatives;
Manage the implementation of Provider refurbishments based on agreed upon contracts;
Identify gaps between Quality Improvement Plans and the minimum requirements to participate in the Health Insurance Fund programs;
Evaluate and monitor Provider readiness to participate in program;
Identify, manage and resolve program risks;
Manage procurement and' delivery of medical assets and medications;
Evaluate the infrastructure upgrading of the providers
Organize training for medical 'and 'para medical staff
Timely prepare various SafeCare reports
Provide advice and support to project marketing and sales activities and provider management contracts
Qualifications & Requirements
Degree in Medical field e.g. Medicine, Pharmacy, Laboratory or Nursing. Public health training will be an added advantage
A minimum of 3 years of experience in health organization settings,
You have experience in working with Healthcare Providers;
You have a strong understanding of Quality Improvement as it relates to Healthcare Providers;
You know how to translate an improvement plan in practice and to monitor the outcome
Exposure to health insurance and/or other relevant health financing programs in Africa is an added advantage;
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and are able to effectively interact within an environment with multiple stakeholders-and people originating from different cultures;
Your understanding of written and spoken English is excellent and you are proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
Willingness to participate in a training program to qualify as a quality surveyor
