Project Officer- Health Care Provider Management (iCHF, based in Manyara)
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Develop and manage a growing network of healthcare providers in the Manyara Region and other project locations (over time) including implementation of all iCHF administrative and quality procedures.
Manage providers at an individual and strategic basis to negotiate provider service level agreements and price lists, ensure high quality standards of care are met, and that iCHF delivers on its service commitments to providers and health program members
Support and develop iCHF Tanzania's health strategy and products
Oversee claims submissions from health service providers utilizing iCHF claims computer system '
Work with NHIF and district HMIS team to refine the computer-based claims management system to fit the healthcare provider's unique business demands
Work with providers to establish a database of relevant conditions using standardized diagnosis coding and treatment protocols (including drugs, procedures, etc.)
Develop and manage quality customer services from health team across the customer care services, provider network, in-person membership meetings, trainings and partner meetings/negotiations.
Support partners in developing quality assurance programs that are process-oriented and able to be managed across every level of iCHF partners 'team
Develop and manage various reports for iCHF health business, utilization of care .and quality
Make routine follow ups to ensure that healthcare providers receive payments on time for the services they provide to iCHF members
Participate in Safe Care assessment and support providers in implementation of Quality Improvement Plan
Qualifications & Requirements
Medical background candidate with Degree in public health
A minimum of 3 years of experience in health organization settings,
Good knowledge of the Health system in the country including the private sector
Experience with the Tanzanian healthcare system
Experience in data collection and analysis;
Proven interest in monitoring and evaluation of health care quality;
Experiencing health education and promotion;
Excellence in interpersonal and communication skills
Computer literate, preferably in Excel, word and PowerPoint
