The Sauti-TZ Program is a USAID-funded initiative to improve the health of all Tanzanians through a sustained reduction in new HN infections in support of the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania. Sauti- TZ uses vulnerability-tailored evidence-based interventions to bring high-quality HN prevention, HN adherence support, and family planning promotion and service delivery to key and vulnerable populations (KVPs) in five regions including Iringa and Njombe, and potentially Mbeya, Mwanza and Dar es Salaam.

In each region, mobile Community-Based HN Testing and Counseling ''Plus''(CBHTC+} teams will deliver a package of outreach services that include HN testing and counseling, linkages to HN care and treatment services, family planning services, and screening for TB, STIs, gender based violence, and alcohol and drug abuse. These services will be provided in a variety of settings, at flexible hours, with populations most at risk for HN. Teams will be based in regional or district towns and travel extensively. The purpose of this advertisement is to recruit adventurous and highly competent clinical and community professionals to take on this exciting work.
All positions are for a one year contract with the option for renewal.

Position: Data Clerk, CBHTC+ Team (2 in each region)
Job Sites: lringa, Njombe, Dar es Salaam, Mbeya, and Mwanza

Job overview:
Works in collaboration with the CBHTC+ team (and regional and district authorities) to collect, manage and transmit' CBHTC + service data; ensuring that the data is received by the authorities that require it in a timely fashion.
Required Qualifications:
Diploma in IT, EMR, Social Work or other relevant area.
At least 2 years of experience working with data management.
Experience working in/with health facilities/services highly desirable.
Proven analytical and numerical capabilities.
Must be willing to be based in Dar-es-Salaam, Mbeya, Mwanza, lringa and Njombe with ,extensive (weekly) travel. Must be willing to work off and unusual hours. Travel up to 80% of the time.
Must be physically fit to assist with set up and break down of services in sites.
Must demonstrate self-management (i.e. motivation, dealing with pressure, adaptability)
Highly flexible to accept dual roles and extra tasks as assigned by the site coordinator

Position: Clinical Team Members (Clinical/Medical Officers and Nurse Counselors) (Up to 12 in each region)

Job Sites: Iringa, Njombe, Dar es Salaam, Mbeya, and Mwanza

Job overview:
Works in collaboration with the other members of the mobile CBHTC + team (and regional and district authorities) to offer high quality CBHTC + services (HN counseling and testing, family planning services, screening and referral for STIs, gender-based violence; TB, alcohol and drug use, linkages and adherence support for HN care and treatment) to clients in their assigned region.

Required Qualifications:
Must be a licensed nurse, nurse/midwife, clinical officer, assistant medical officer or medical officer in good standing.
Experience working with populations at high risk for HN, conducting outreach testing, and/or in provider initiated counseling and testing, and family planning services, desirable.
Experience establishing linkages from HN testing and counseling to HN care and treatment services.
Must be willing to be based in assigned region with extensive (weekly) travel. Must be willing to work off and unusual hours.
Travel up to 80% of the rime.
Must be physically fit to assist with set up and break down of services in sites.
Must demonstrate self-management (i.e. motivation, dealing with pressure, adaptability)
Must be highly flexible to accept dual roles and extra tasks as assigned by the site coordinator.
Additional experience with community counselling, mobile HTC, GBV is desirable .

Position: Logistics Assistant, CBHTC+ Teams (2 for each region)

Job Sites: lringa, Njombe,Dar es Salaam, Mbeya, Mwanza.

Job overview:
Works in collaboration with the mobile CBHTC+ team (and regional and district authorities) to manage team logistics, acquisition of necessary commodities for the team, and coordinates medical waste in their assigned region.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or advanced diploma in business administration, logistics, materials management or related training.
Demonstrated experience in the operations management, preferably for a USAID-funded program.
Knowledge and experience in accounting, administration and operational practices, including use of computer software related to those functions.
Demonstrated interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to be goal-oriented, flexible and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Computer skills including demonstrated experience with MS
Word, MS Power Point, and MS Excel.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Kiswahili.
Must be willing to be based in Dar-es-Salaam, Mbeya, Mwanza, Iringa and Njombe with extensive (weekly) travel. Must be willing to work off and unusual hours. Travel up to 80% of the time.
Must be physically fit to assist with set ,up and break down of services in sites.

Job overview:
Works as part of the Sauti-TZ mobile CBHTC+ team to forge relationships with individuals, organizations and communities working with key and vulnerable 'populations, implements demand creation activities for CBHTC + services, and supports community-based HN-prevention interventions in collaboration with regional and district authorities, and members of key and vulnerable populations.

Required Qualifications:
Diploma in community development, sociology or other relevant field.
Minimum 3 years' experience in working in community mobilization and/or home-based care programs.
Prior experience in working with literate and non-literate audiences; experience in participatory methods
Experience managing community mobilizers and/or peer educators highly desirable,
Demonstrated self-management (i.e. motivation, dealing with pressure, adaptability).
Highly flexible to accept dual roles and extra tasks as assigned by the site coordinator
Must be willing to be based in Dar-es-Salaam, Mbeya, Mwanza, lringa and Njombe with extensive (weekly) travel. Must be willing to work off and unusual hours. Travel up to 70% of the time.
Must be physically fit to assist with set up and break ,down of services in sites
