You will play a key role in the support and maintenance of WaterAid’s IT systems involving both hardware and software support across the organisation.
As well as day-to-day technical support you will arrange for repairs and maintenance as well as organising backups, the administration of software licenses, installations and network troubleshooting. Security issues, IT policies and developing/sourcing relevant training for staff will also fall under your remit.

The successful applicant will have experience/knowledge of:

• Microsoft systems
• Hardware including printers and mobile devices
• LAN and WAN working knowledge – including Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet and FDDI
• Citrix and VMware View and user profile management
• Network and network management

They will also have:
• Awareness of data storage technologies
• Excellent customer service skills and a helpful attitude

• CompTIA A+ Certification

Spoken French/Portuguese would be an advantage as you will be supporting some country programmes.
