Positions in M&E and Knowledge Management

Proposed 3 years and 6 months DFID funded Monitoring and Evaluation initiative Futures Group is seeking to design a monitoring and evaluation framework and undertake related M&E activities for its support to a proposed Reproductive Maternal and Neonatal Health (RMNH) Innovation Fund.  We are seeking expression of interest for several full time vacancies to be based in Addis Ababa as listed below:  1 Team Leader/Senior M&E Specialist  1 Knowledge Management Specialist Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist At least 10 years’ experience in M&E (senior position); Strong experience in leading and managing teams; Experience on programmes handling large grants; Experience on reproductive maternal and neonatal health programmes preferred; Experience in developing M&E frameworks; collating baseline data; verifying results and quality assuring regular reports of grantees; Experience in carrying out annual and project completion reviews (ARs and PCR) of outcome and outputs and of value for money; Experience in measuring and monitoring Value for Money and the cost drivers throughout a programme’ s life time; Conducting evaluations at mid point and end point of programmes; Experience in advising on and quality-assuring operational research (OR)proposals and reports that will be conducted by grantees preferred; and Major Donor experience (DFID Experience preferred) Knowledge Management Adviser Previous experience in KM for a reproductive maternal and neonatal health programme; Extensive experience in documenting and disseminating best practice and lessons learnt by the programme; Previous experience on advising on and quality-assuring operational research (OR)proposals and reports will be well regarded; 5-7 years’ experience in a previous KM role.
