The Management of Tanzania Portland Cement is inviting for a suitable candidate to fill the above vacant position.
Qualification
The candidate must possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent.
Must be registered with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB).
Computer proficient with knowledge in MS office.
Must have good leadership, planning and organizing skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
Must be fluent in speaking and writing English and Swahili languages.
Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in a manufacturing/Cement industry or equivalent.
Duties
Train sales executive in application knowledge level 1 which involves local house building and understanding of the use of cement as a binder in construction.
Train and advise local contractors and component makers such as block and pavement makers.
Identify and examine new usage areas of level 1 cement among new and old user groups.
Interact with Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) and other relevant bodies on guidelines for cement products, manufacturing and applications.
Occupational Safety and Health Authority (OSHA) compliance with the company requirements.
Perform any other duties that may be assigned.
