ACBF Workshop Facilitator

The African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) is seeking a competent and experienced workshop facilitator to plan and deliver the second Annual Reflection Workshop for the Australia Africa Community Engagement Scheme (AACES), which is scheduled for 25-26 June 2013 in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania.

AACES is a partnership of AusAID, ten Australian Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) and their Africa-based partners. AACES will be implemented over five years (2011-16) in 11 African countries.

The partnership approach is an important part of AACES. Partnerships among NGOs and between NGOs and AusAID have enabled AACES to achieve greater impact through learning and synergies across the program.

Learning is another central feature of AACES. The program includes an Annual Reflection Workshop that brings together AACES partners to reflect and learn from the work done and contribute to the future direction of the program.  The first workshop was held in June 2012 in Nairobi, Kenya.
The African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) was contracted in January 2012 by the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID), as Resource Facility Manager for the Australia Africa Community Engagement Scheme (AACES). The role of the Resource Facility is to provide timely, efficient, and effective logistical, administrative and technical support to AACES.

Interested candidates should send a Curriculum Vitae and a cover letter specifying how they are suitable for this role to aaces1@acbf-pact.org by Monday, 15 April 2013.
