Design Monitoring & Evaluation Officer
Purpose of the Position
Provide technical guidance and support to programs/projects to comply with World Vision –Design Monitoring and Evaluation (WV DM&E) Management policy, guidelines & standards, Child Well Being initiatives and donor requirements
Summary of Responsibilities
Coordinate, update and review development of DM&E plans and budget, capacity building on DM&E for the project/program staff and stakeholders and Provide monitoring support to the Area Development Programs to ensure compliance with World Vision Standards
Also facilitate program reflection/learning, documentation of best practices and most significant success stories are included in the reports and shared among the partners
Qualifications required:Bachelor Degree in Social Science (BA) or BSc Degree in
Agric. Economics & related field with experience of 3 years in programming . Computer skills and statistical package and Skills in Research methodology
Maternal Newborn & Child Health (MNCH) District Coordinator
Purpose of the position: Provide overall coordination of the project at the district level, which is aimed at enhancing collaborations to contribute to the improvement of maternal and child health as per World Vision partnership standards.
Summary of the responsibilities: Provide MNCH technical assistance as required to Local Government Authorities, World Vision Area Development Programs and community initiatives by strengthening strong linkages between LGAs and CSOs in planning, decision making and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) in all MNCH activities. Develop evidence-based briefing papers, Community Stories and best practices, and other documentation in support of policy initiatives to improve MNCH at National Level
Qualification: Bsc in Medicine, Nursing, Public Health or Nutrition. Candidate with MPH have an added advantage with at least
3yrs working experience in
MNCH Project and local government in Tanzania. Ability to work at local level, Experience in policy reform initiatives and advocacy and donor funded programs are highly desirable
Site Project Coordinator-Market Led Agriculture Production
Purpose of the position:
To coordinate and take lead in the implementation of Market Led Agriculture Production (MLAP) program activities in the target Area Development Programs ( ADPs) as per World Vision Policies, donor standards and procedures to attain quality project performance.
Summary of the Responsibilities: Provide guidance, mentorship and direction to ADP staff, Communities and key partners on the MLAP consortium program, including technical assistance in the form of program/project activities for quality and sustainable development. Take lead in networking and collaboration with relevant Secure the Future partners within the Cluster (Extension workers, Village Government leaders, Ward executives officers, Ward counselors, Schools, Local Institutions and any other key partners. Ensure that child protection standards and Christian commitment values are adhered to and they are adequately integrated in MLAP program. Mobilize and facilitate sensitization meetings to communities and provide support to formation and management of farmers groups and build capacity of Village Agricultural Facilitator (VAFs) for creation of village level MLAP learning centers. Coordinate and support government extension workers engagement in project activities and their training at ADP level
Qualification required: Bachelor degree in Public Economic Development, Sociology, and Agriculture from recognized with 3 years working experience in programming. Other technical abilities includes monitoring and supervision skills, Experience working with donor programs, knowledge in proposal writing and negotiation skills
Senior Gender & Advocacy
Purpose of the Position
To implement and monitor Gender & Advocacy programming, Child protection and policies influencing- National Office focal person on Gender
Summary of the Responsibilities:
Conduct gender research / self assessment on negative socio- cultural and traditional beliefs affecting women, girls, boys and men. Build Capacity to staff and community in Gender, Child protection and policy influencing. Facilitate integration (mainstreaming) of Gender at all level of program cycle (Assessment, Design, Implementation, monitoring and evaluation) in World Vision Tanzania (WVT) programs. Participate in Gender and advocacy networks, coalitions and policy influencing forums. Compile Gender and advocacy messages, child protection, policy influencing, document and disseminate promising practices
Qualification required: Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences, Law with 2 yrs in advocacy. The candidate must be strong in research and proposal writing, Advocacy lobbying, dialogue, Human Rights skills
and networking skills
