We seek qualified candidates for the position of Technical Advisor, Strategic Information in Botswana.
Position Responsibilities:
The Technical Advisor, Strategic Information will provide assistance and the implementation and design of monitoring and evaluation, surveillance, DQA and evaluation for public health and development programs. In addition, this position will backstop countries in the areas listed (above), contribute to raise FHI leadership in the area of evaluation and data analysis use for programs improvement, and contribute to writing publications for FHI programs.
Minimum Requirements:
BS/BA in public health or related field, and 9-11 years relevant experience in HIV/AIDS international development programs and with proven strong data management and robust data analysis experience and skills; overseas field experience required; or MS/MA/MPH in public health or related field, and 7 - 9 years relevant experience; or PhD, MD or similar degree with 5 - 7 years relevant experience. Language requirements: English. Fluency in French, Spanish or Portuguese or computer programming is a plus. Relevant computer software skills (including, the standard applications in MS Office, SPSS, STATA, EpiInfo, Acess, and Excel and GIS). Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally at least 25%
