- Digital Global Media Group of Business and Legal Affairs. Supports the digital businesses across all Viacom channels, including gaming, contests and sweepstakes, content distribution and establishment and operation of social networking sites, vertical web sites and back-end support for websites and WAP sites.
- Employment Law Business and Legal Affairs. Compliance (FCPA, data privacy), Managing Viacom's Global Business Practices and the Conflicts of Interest policy, Interfacing with outside counsel on litigation and employment-related issues, Employee relations and workplace issues(hiring, discipline, termination and leaves), Immigration, Investigations, RIF's, OSHA, Workers Compensation, Managing the company's Affirmative Action Plans.
- MTV Business and Legal Affairs. This department handles drafting and aggressively negotiates a wide variety of agreements for MTV Production, Series Development and MTV’s Music Marketing such as: (work for hire agreements, vendor agreements, location agreements, guest releases, sponsorship agreements, acquisition agreements, talent agreements, licensing deals, etc.) We work closely and communicate regularly with Production, Production Management, Talent Department, and Accounting.
- Nickelodeon Digital Media Business and Legal Affairs. This department is responsible for the legal needs and related business counsel for the Nickelodeon digital group including video game licensing agreements, video game vendor agreements, regulatory compliance related to children's websites and marketing; working with other BALA departments on litigation, intellectual property (including patent matters), third party music and media licensing, rights clearances and talent matters.
- Viacom Media Networks Business and Legal Affairs. Handle business and legal affairs matters across various Viacom programming services with a special focus on music, development and production. Structure, negotiate and draft documents and agreements with production companies, producers, talent, writers and rights holders. Advise clients on music rights issues, including interpreting global record label, music publishing, video-on-demand, and music library agreements. Advise clients, internal legal counsel and Music & Media Licensing personnel regarding music rights and strategy issues.
