DCB Commercial Bank Plc is a Private Commercial Bank dedicated at uplifting the standard of living of low, middle and corporate - income people in Tanzania. The bank is registered under the Companies Act. 2006 (as amended from time to time) and licensed by the Bank of Tanzania under the Banking and Financial Institutions Act, 2006.
The Bank wishes to recruit the qualified personnel to fill the vacant position of Sales & Marketing Officer, resulting from the implementation of the strategic expansion programs taking place.
The Role
The Sales & Marketing Officer will be reporting to the Marketing and Communication Manager and will be responsible for assisting the Marketing and Communication Manager to undertake implementation of marketing and Communication issues.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conducting survey to customers to obtain their perception regarding our services as compared with our competitors
Assisting customers in opening accounts as well as registering them to DCB Pesa
Registering existing customers to DCB Pesa
Promoting usage of DCB Pesa and DCB Jirani to Customers
Conducting visits to our internal clients (staff) regarding their views on the whole process of rendering services to our customers.
Searching other information from the external markets; including the regulators, competitors, and suppliers.
Compiling customers complains from branches and sending them to BOT complain desk.
Compiling data obtained from the field and advising Marketing Manager &
Communications regarding the prevailing Marketing position.
Establishing new markets for all products
Participating in the process of promotions and advertisement activities
Participating in the process of linking customers with other stakeholders including BOS
Participating in the process of mobilizing trade fairs for customers
Advising Marketing Manager & Communication on any matters concerning the market change
Assisting Marketing Manager to develop new products and refining the existing- products
Developing promotional/marketing materials for the products that DCB Offers.
Qualification,and Experience:
University Degree/Advanced Diploma majoring in Marketing/Business Administration or its equivalent
1 year relevant experience
Specific Skills:
Competency in Computer
Negotiation Skills
Good Interpersonal Skills
High Integrity level
Good Communication Skills
Excellent Writing Skills
