Role overview
The volunteer will work collaboratively with Youth Economic Empowerment (YEE) Project Communication manager with the deployment of strategic communications materials related to the project. Research and write stories that capture the impact of YEE project to the Youth, collating evidence from the project to use for advocacy and support the communication Manager in creating the project Website and linking to social Media
Skills, qualifications and experience
Degree in communications, public relations, journalism or a similar discipline. Experience of three or more years in teaching methodology from vocational training facility or related institution is highly recommended for this position. Have at least two years experience in the practical vocational training. Experience in management information systems
Allowance and accommodation
All volunteers have an allowance paid in local currency. The allowance meets reasonable living expenses in country, but will not be enough to send money home.
VSO works with some of the poorest communities in the world which means accommodation varies and will be basic.
