HR Central Europe is providing HR generalist consultancy for employees and line managers in 30 countries and in various HR functional areas such as payroll, benefits and administration, mobility, compliance, employee relations and occupational health and safety. Our aim is to provide professional end-to-end support to our customers in any operative HR topic during the employees Nokia Journey. As HR Operations Manager in HR Central Europe for United Kingdom and Ireland, you will have end to end responsibility for any operative HR topics that will require local presence and/or senior consultancy in these three countries. You will manage the HR Central team in UK to provide employees and line manager’s operational HR Services that will support them during their employment life cycle. You will also ensure a quality dialogue between HR function and employees or line managers in the country. You will also manage compensation and benefits as well as wellbeing related topics. On the top of that you will also act as a change agent in the countries to develop and implement any HR processes or change projects. You will work together as a partner with the Business HR, Finance and Controlling, Global HR Teams and other internal stakeholders. And last but not least, you also will be the local contact point for the external vendors (e.g. payroll and administrative services, insurance and health care).
Qualifications
In order to succeed in this role you have:
- Proven experience in HR generalist role, in an international environment and/or global centralized HR Service delivery organization.
- Experience in consultancy, coaching and advising.
- Proven experience on successfully managing service delivery for internal stakeholders and customers
- In depth understanding of centralized HR teams and preferably experience working in this environment
- Ability to drive change programs and policy change in a sometimes challenging environment drawing on your creativity to find solutions
- Understanding of general HR people practices, processes and policies in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
- Strong customer service attitude.
- Proven track of records of being able to work both independently and as a team member.
- Ready to take on the initiatives with can do attitude and ability to deal with ambiguity.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Understanding of HR processes related tool, HR SAP R/3 is an advantage.
- Ability to deliver in time ad hoc requests and work on multiple ongoing projects at the same time.
- Experience in change management.
This position requires some travelling, up to 25% of the time to UK sites and some international travel.
