SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
The Senior Communications Officer –supports the management communication function in keeping the World Vision employees at every level connected, informed on positive developments in the organization and supports the process of explaining and building shared understanding of the mission and vision of World Vision Tanzania. He/she is responsible for managing, developing products and tools facilitating channels of communication that promote information sharing and learning. The incumbent is also responsible for maintaining, updating and promoting the World Vision Tanzania website to internal and external audiences, especially donors. He/she will also develop and disseminate key communications resources for marketing, public awareness and management of emergencies.
The position is further responsible for supporting planning, development and delivery of World Vision communications strategy. He/she will oversee implementation of the communications brand policy for external and internal publics. Effective development of communications resources for external audiences, in the form of print publications and videos comprise one of the key roles. He/she will build capacity of key staff to improve effective communication within the organization. The incumbent is also responsible for promoting public visibility of the organization as well as building relations with media.
