Job overview:
Works as part of the Sauti mobile CBHTC+ team to forge relationships with individuals, organizations and communities working with key and vulnerable populations, implements demand creation activities for CBHTC+ services, and supports community-based HIV-prevention interventions in collaboration with regional and district authorities, and members of key and vulnerable populations.
Required Qualifications:
• Degree/Advanced Diploma in community development, sociology, Counselling or other relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in working in community mobilization and/or home-based care programs.
• Prior experience in working with literate and non-literate audiences; experience in participatory methods
• Experience managing clients referrals and tracking Lost to follow up clients
• Demonstrated self-management (i.e. motivation, dealing with pressure, adaptability).
• Highly flexible to accept dual roles and extra tasks as assigned by the site coordinator
• Must be willing to be based in assigned district with extensive (weekly) travel.
• Must be willing to work off and unusual hours, and travel up to 70% of the time.
• Must be physically fit to assist with set up and break down of services in sites.
