1.0. MEDICAL OFFICER II (5 POSITIONS)
1.1. Reports to: Head of Firm
1.2. Duties and Responsibilities
• To perform Medical duties in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Surgery,Anaesthesia Medicine, Paediatrics, Preventive Medicine and Emergencies.
• To perform daily ward rounds with specialists on call and prepare patients case notes.
• To perform all investigations for patients.
• To attend general outpatient clinics.
• To prepare all patients for any surgery/procedure.
• To carry out post -operative follow ups.
• To carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time
1.3. Required Qualifications and Experience
• Holder of Doctor of Medicine Degree from any recognized University/institution
• Must have successful completed one year Internship programme and registered with the Medical Council of Tanganyika.
• Must have maximum of three years work experience in a District or Regional Hospitals.
• Must be computer literate.
2.0 PHARMACIST II ( 3 POSITIONS)
2.1 Reports to: Head of Unit
2.2 Duties and Responsibilities
• To supervise dispensing of medicine as per doctor’s prescriptions.
• To supervise making of extemporaneous preparations (compounding).
• To organize preparation of sterile and non-sterile pharmaceuticals.
• To provide drug information to both patients and health care personnel.
• To provide ward pharmacy services i-e. In-patients prescription monitoring, therapeutic drug monitoring etc.
• To supervise, appraise staff and identify development and training needs.
• To perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor from time to time.
2.3 Required Qualifications
• Holder of Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification who has completed internship
• Must have completed a one year internship programme and registered by the Pharmacy Council.
• Computer literacy is essential
• Masters in Clinical Chemistry will be an added advantage
3.0 NURSING OFFICER II (5 POSITIONS)
3.1 Reports to: Ward/Unit In-charge
3.2 Duties and Responsibilities
• To provide care to patients following nursing process
• To provide high quality nursing care using appropriate nursing process.
• To assess patient’s condition, plan, implement, document, and evaluate individualized Nursing care using appropriate nursing model in accordance with the hospital nursing policy.
• To ensure all drugs and other treatments are given to the patients as prescribed and observe any adverse condition.
• To maintain personal contact with patients, their relatives and visitors to enhance the patient’s quality of life, dignity and the good standing of the hospital.
• To ensure the safe care and custody of patients property in accordance with the hospital policy.
• To maintain health and safety at work by ensuring that infection prevention and control principles are followed.
• To perform any other duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.
3.3 Required Qualifications
• Holder of B.Sc. Degree in Nursing or its equivalent from a recognized institution plus successful completion of Internship.
• Must be registered with Tanzania Nurses and Midwives Council.
• Must have a valid license to practice.
• Must be computer literate
4.0 HEALTH SOCIAL WORKER II (5 POSITIONS)
4.1 Reports to: Head of Social Work
4.2 Duties and Responsibilities
• To conduct interviews and give advice to patients (inpatients and outpatients).
• To pay home visits to patients with a view of establishing factors relevant to treatment.
• Screening all in-patients to identify those with social medical problems and report their cases to senior staff.
• Preparing various periodical reports pertaining to patients with social and economical problems that can help the management in decision making.
• To carry out major ward rounds to identify and assess the progress of patients.
• Collecting data and statistics for exempted patients and other cases that require Institute’s support.
• Counseling patients under the supervision of senior staff.
• To carry out rehabilitation for mental and physical handicapped and general case work including staff welfare services.
• To conduct health education to patients and their families.
• To perform any other duty assigned from time to time by supervisor.
4.3 Required Qualifications
• Holder of a Degree in Social Work or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
• Possession of appropriate interpersonal skills is a must.
• Must be a computer literate
5.0. RADIOGRAPHER II ( 2 POSITIONS)
5.1 Reports to: Head, Radiology Department
5.2 Duties and Responsibilities:
• To make sure that the radiation protection in the department is maintained.
• To assist Radiographer in-charge on the preparation and administration of contrast agents.
• To prepare patients for further procedure.
• To assist Radiographer in setting control for correct exposures.
• To perform any other duties as may be directed by supervisor.
5.3 Required Qualifications
• Holder of three years Diploma in Radiography or equivalent qualification who is registered by the National Radiation Commission.
• Must be computer literate
6.0 HEALTH RECORDS TECHNICIAN II (5 POSITIONS)
6.1 Reports to: Head, Medical Records
6.2 Duties and Responsibilities
• Organize In and Out Patients Clinics
• Ensure clear Management of the Health administrative statistics.
• Code and classify diseases and diagnosis report.
• Implement proper system of daily collection and reporting of ward returns
• Keep and maintain patients numbering system.
• Maintain clear Patients Records Management.
• Manage and organize data processing.
• Handling all customer/patients complains relating to functions
• Execute Quality Improvements programmes.
• Assists in implementing periodical reporting system.
• Ensure clear confidentiality and security of the patient’s information.
• Implement means of weeding of Inactive records for new records.

6.3 Required Qualifications.
• Holder of two years full time Technician certificate (NTA level 5) or 3years in ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6) in health records and information Management from the Registered Health Records and Information Institutions.

7.1 HEALTH RECORDER II (11 POSITIONS)
7.1. Reports to: Head, Medical Records
7.2. Duties and Responsibilities
• Routine registration of new and return attendances of outpatients and admission of inpatients.
• filing patients case-notes.
• Numbering system based on filing system.
• Issuing and preparing new files/outpatient cards.
• will be responsible for all matters concerning reception of referred patients.
• Collection and sorting of Laboratory results into patients files.
• Quarter yearly sorting of files into the shelves.
• Reviewing, sorting, and filing all discharge and follow-up case-notes into the shelves.
• Execute Quality Assurance Programmes
• To keep and maintain records and statistics.

7.3. Required Qualification
• Holder of Certificate in Health Records who has successfully completed Form IV with passes in English and Mathematics

8.0 OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST II ( 2 POSITIONS)
8.1 Reports to: Head, Psychiatry
8.2 Duties and Responsibilities
• To keep and maintain patients records and statistics.
• To take care of equipments in the Unit/department and report any malfunctions.
• To carry out occupational Therapist duties under supervision.
• To maintain records and provide written and verbal reports as required.
• To maintain an accurate record of the services provided to patients.
• To perform any other duties assigned by superior from time to time.
8.3 Required Qualifications
• Holder of three years Diploma in Occupational Therapy or its equivalent with an experience of one year from a recognized institution.

9.0 HEALTH LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST II (5 POSITIONS)
9.1 Reports to: Head, Diagnostic Laboratories
9.2 Duties and Responsibilities
• To prepare re-agents for routine examination of patients.
• To carry out diagnostic procedures as advised by Doctors.
• To ensure that all laboratory equipment are in working order and report any malfunction to the concerned authorities.
• To ensure that the laboratory is kept clean and the glassware is available and clean.
• To ensure that all samples for investigations are kept in safe custody.
• To maintain a record of the findings of all investigations carried out.
• To perform any other duties as may be directed by his/her supervisor.
9.3 Required Qualifications
• Holder of three years Diploma in Health/Clinical Medicine/Dental Laboratory Technology with additional training in Specialized Technology fields such as Anaesthesia, Cardiothoracic or vascular Surgery, Cardiology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Haematology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Rheumatology, Pulmonology, Dermatology,Urology,Bacteriology,Histopathology,ENT, Ophthalmology or equivalent qualification.with years relevant experience from a recognized Hospital

10.0 PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLIES OFFICER II ( 6 POSITIONS)
10.1. Reports to: Head of the Unit
10.2. Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain Procurement Request Register
• Raising enquiries and issuing to Prospective Suppliers for quotations
• Maintain register for enquiries and Quotations received.
• Evaluations of quotations
• Raising of Requisitions for Official Orders and Official Orders
• Follow up for approvals of procurement documents
• Issuing of Orders to Suppliers and following up for delivery
• Maintain Proper Procurement records
• Monthly reconciliation on all procurement made.
• To perform any other duties as may be assigned.
10.3 Required Qualifications:
• Holder of a Degree in Procurement and Supplies or Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supplies from a recognised Institution.
• Must be holder of Certified Procurement and Supplies Professional (CPSP) and
registered as authorised professional with a work experience of two years in reputable organisation but Not above 35 years of age..
• The candidate should be computer literate, Conversant with PPA 2011 and its regulation of 2013 and knowledgeable in the use of GPSA framework contracts
11.1 INTERNAL AUDITOR II (4 POSITIONS)
11.1.Reports to: Chief Internal Auditor
11.2 Duties and Responsibilities
• To review internal controls and submit recommendations to superiors.
• To execute audit programmes.
• To ensure that internal control systems are adequate to avert perpetration of frauds, misappropriation and embezzlements.
• To prepare audit reports based on the audit findings
• To review the effectiveness of managerial controls and implementation of systems, policies and practices of the hospital.
• To prepare internal audit programmes in accordance with generally accepted audit standards.
• To organize and supervise staff carrying out audit on expenditure and revenue transactions.
• To carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time.
11.3 Required Qualifications
• Holder of a B.Com in Accounting or Bachelor in Business Administration with Accounting option or equivalent qualifications.
• Must also be a Holder of CPA (T) or its equivalent, registered with NBAA as Certified Public Accountant.

12.0. TECHNICIAN ( ELECTRICAL) - ( 3 POSITIONS)
12.1 Reports : Head of Maintenance
12.2 Duties and Responsibilities
• To carry out specified tasks connected with electrical, masonry, carpentry etc.
• To assist in the repair and maintenance of laboratory or instrumental workshop facilities.
• To carry out, independently, specified routine technical tasks which require a higher degree of technical knowledge and skills.
• To perform any other duties as may be assigned by the superior.
12.3 Required Qualifications
• Holder of a Full Technician Certificate (FTC) or three years Diploma in relevant field or its equivalent from a recognized institution with a working experience of at least 2 years from a reputable organization.

13.0. PHYSIOTHERAPIST II (2 POSITIONS)
13.1. Reports to: Head, Rehabilitative Medicine
13.2. Duties and Responsibilities
• To treat patients under supervision of senior staff.
• To keep and maintain patients records and statistics.
• To take care of equipments in the Unit/department and report any malfunctions.
• To perform any other duties assigned by superior from time to time.
13.3 Required Qualifications:
• Holder of three years Diploma in Physiotherapy or its equivalent with an experience of one from a recognized institution.

14.0 BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN II (2 POSITIONS)
14.1 Reports to: Head, Maintenance
14.2 Duties and Responsibilities
• Under direct supervision, assist in developing, constructing, repairing, and maintaining basic electro-medical equipment. Specifically:-
• To assist higher level technicians in repairing, installing, calibrating, or maintaining a range of general biomedical/ clinical equipment, e.g., replacing components, taking test readings, and wiring circuits in accordance with specific instructions
• To perform preventative maintenance and electrical safety testing of equipment
• To make minor repairs on medical electronic equipment
• To maintain appropriate records of repairs and preventative maintenance
• To perform any other duties as may be assigned by the superior.
14.3 Required Qualifications
• Holder of a Full Technician Certificate (FTC) in Biomedical Engineering or three years Diploma in Biomedical Engineering field from a recognized institution.

15.0 PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNICIAN II (2 Posts)
15.1 Reports to: Head of Pharmacy Department
15.2. Duties and responsibilities:
• Determine, prepare and ordering drugs and treatment Instrument requirements.
• Store and dispense dugs and treatment instruments as per prescription to patients and staff.
• Providing information on reactions resulting from the use of medicine.
• Prepare report on the use of drugs and treatment instruments in the Institute.
• Assist physicians, interns, nurses and patients on medication.
• Sort out and listing drugs expiring within three months for the attention of superior.
• To perform any other related duties assigned by his/her superior.
15.3. Required Qualifications:
• Applicant must be a Holder of diploma in Pharmacy from any recognized Institution. Also must be registered by the National Pharmacy Board of Tanzania.
16.0 SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR II (Network) (1 POSITION)
16.1. Reports to: Head, IT Department
16.2. Duties and responsibilities
• Design, install and configure LAN and WAN infrastructure.
• Review LAN and WAN architecture.
• Test network equipment and devices.
• Implement network security plan.
• Perform network troubleshooting.
• Monitor and maintain active network equipment for optimal network performance.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plan for the network.
16.3. Required Qualifications:
• Holders of BSc degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology/Systems from a recognized Institution.
• Certification (Cisco) in Network administration is an added advantage
17.1 SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR II (Database) (1 POSITION)
17.1. Reports to : Head, IT Department
17.2. Duties and responsibilities :
• To oversees database administration on various platforms for production.
• Development, and test environments to include day to day monitoring and maintenance, problem investigation and resolution.
• Backup creation and maintenance.
• SQL and database optimization and tuning.
• Provide leading efforts to research, analyze and recommendations on patches, upgrades, and new technologies surrounding all aspects of data management using relational database.
• Plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard information in databases against accidental or unauthorized damage or modification.
17.3 Required Qualifications:
• Holders of BSc degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology/Systems from a recognized Institution.

18.0: IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN II (3)
18.1: Duties and responsibilities:
• Day to day responsibility and accountability for the Installation, configuration, update and maintenance of the Windows PCs and peripheral equipment (such as printers, scanners, etc.). These responsibilities include the cleaning of computers and alignment of printers, ensuring the legality of software and continuation of services.
• Provide technical support to staff and other users in the use of IT services and equipment.
• Support all IT Hardware, Software, and Hospital Information System within a very fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Provide dedicated first and second level support to users of the computing facility across MNH campus through Telephone and face-to-face.
• Assist in the backup of corporate data and systems

20.2. Duties and Responsibilities.
• Assist in inventory record keeping.

• Assist in arranging stocks with adherence to 5S.
• Assist in dispatching goods received notes and invoices to payment section.

• Maintenance and cleaning of Centre’s and drainage systems.
• Participates in drawing-up short and long term programmes for the general improvement of the landscaping of the Hospital’sgrounds and drainage systems.

20.3.Required Qualifications:
• Degree in Environmental Engineering or Advanced Diploma in Land Management and valuation or its equivalent from a recognized institution.

21.0. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER II -(2 POSITIONS )
21.1. Reports to: Head of Department
21.2. Duties and Responsibilities
• Deals with staff welfare matters.
• Assists in conducting staff performance appraisal.
• Assist in the provision of Administrative services
• Prepares manpower planning and training programme.
• Deals with interpretation of various circulars on salaries, leave, retirements, etc.
• Drafting circulars land papers for submission to various committee.
• Processing staff disciplinary cases, matters on staff regulation and procedures, and pensions.

23.0. ENGINEER II (Biomedical ) -(1 POSITION )
23.1. Reports to: Head of Department
23.2. Duties and Responsibilities
• Carry out maintenance of all laboratory and other hospital equipment under minimum supervision;
• Plan preventive maintenance to all laboratory and other hospital equipment under minimum supervision.
• Be responsible to update inventory and maintenance database according to guidelines.
• Be responsible for day to day activities i.e. daily inspection and calibration of hospital equipment.
• Be responsible for safe custody of workshop tools.
• Be responsible for proper use of materials and spares during corrective maintenance of equipment.

23.3. Required Qualifications:

• To place orders of foodstuffs and other items required in a kitchen.

• Answers calling signals from subscribers within and distant exchanges.
• Connects calls within the exchange area and outside and appropriate charges where required.
• Makes bookings for international exchange and prepare necessary records and report to his/her supervisor.

29.3. Required Qualifications:

1.0. MEDICAL OFFICER II (5 POSITIONS)
1.1. Reports to: Head of Firm
1.2. Duties and Responsibilities
• To perform Medical duties in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Surgery,Anaesthesia Medicine, Paediatrics, Preventive Medicine and Emergencies.
• To perform daily ward rounds with specialists on call and prepare patients case notes.

2.0 PHARMACIST II ( 3 POSITIONS)
2.1 Reports to: Head of Unit
2.2 Duties and Responsibilities
• To supervise dispensing of medicine as per doctor’s prescriptions.
• To supervise making of extemporaneous preparations (compounding).
• To organize preparation of sterile and non-sterile pharmaceuticals.
• To provide drug information to both patients and health care personnel.
• To provide ward pharmacy services i-e. In-patients prescription monitoring, therapeutic drug monitoring etc.
• To supervise, appraise staff and identify development and training needs.
• To perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor from time to time.
2.3 Required Qualifications
• Holder of Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification who has completed internship

3.0 NURSING OFFICER II (5 POSITIONS)
3.1 Reports to: Ward/Unit In-charge
3.2 Duties and Responsibilities
• To provide care to patients following nursing process
• To provide high quality nursing care using appropriate nursing process.
• To assess patient’s condition, plan, implement, document, and evaluate individualized Nursing care using appropriate nursing model in accordance with the hospital nursing policy.
• To ensure all drugs and other treatments are given to the patients as prescribed and observe any adverse condition.
• To maintain personal contact with patients, their relatives and visitors to enhance the patient’s quality of life, dignity and the good standing of the hospital.

4.1 Reports to: Head of Social Work
4.2 Duties and Responsibilities
• To conduct interviews and give advice to patients (inpatients and outpatients).
• To pay home visits to patients with a view of establishing factors relevant to treatment.
• Screening all in-patients to identify those with social medical problems and report their cases to senior staff.
• Preparing various periodical reports pertaining to patients with social and economical problems that can help the management in decision making.

• Under direct supervision, assist in developing, constructing, repairing, and maintaining basic electro-medical equipment. Specifically:-
• To assist higher level technicians in repairing, installing, calibrating, or maintaining a range of general biomedical/ clinical equipment, e.g., replacing components, taking test readings, and wiring circuits in accordance with specific instructions
