2. Major Duties and Responsibilities
- To Manage and coordinate the programme of work and schedule of meetings of the Commission in consultation with the Director of Conference Management and Publications , Heads of Interpreters' and other relevant officials;
- To prepare the daily programme of meetings , as required, in consultation with the Director;
- To provide competent and informative advice and overall assistance to the Director of DCMP in the conduct of the proceedings of the conference, including all physical facilities required for the conference, meeting rooms, and on specific requirements for the work of conference services staff;
- To allocate conference rooms for meetings and conferences scheduled under the Calendar of Meetings as approved by the PRC Sub-Committee on Programmes and Conferences, Chairperson/Deputy Chairperson;
- To assign meeting rooms in accordance with change and cancellation of meetings;
- To facilitate preparatory and post mortem meetings with departments and writing reports;
- To resolves all problems involving in the conference servicing operation;
- To organizes and supervises the carrying out of client satisfaction surveys, as necessary, in consultation with the Director;
- To work closely with the Calendar of Meetings Administrator on all matters concerning approval, change and cancellation of meetings;
- To work closely with the Heads of Interpreters' in contacting freelance interpreters for meetings as identified by the Head;
- To liaise with Team Leaders for meetings and update the record;
- To prepare cost estimates for meetings when necessary;
- To provide statistics for meeting when necessary;
- To monitor and improve the workflow in any way when necessary, in consultation with the Director;
3. Qualifications and Work Experience Required
- BA degree in Conference Management or Business Administration field. A higher qualification in the field will be an added advantage.
- 3 years of experience
4. Tenure of Appointment
The appointment will be made on a fixed term contract for a period of Elven (11) months, of which the first three (3) month will be considered as a probationary period.

6. Remuneration
The salary attached to the position is a fixed monthly lump sum of US$ 6,002.83 (P1 Step5) inclusive of all allowances for internationally recruited staff, and US$ 5,035.86 inclusive of all allowances for locally recruited staff.
