Africare, a US based not-for-profit NGO headquartered in Washington D.C, is seeking for qualified individuals who are interested to implement the anticipated five years USAID Funded OVC Program (caring for Children and Empowering Young People (C2EYP) based in Tanzania, RFA-621-15-000005. The project targets to support HIV impacted vulnerable children and young people in Tanzania to access services for improving HIVI AIDS care, health, nutrition, education, protection, livelihoods, and psychological well-being.

Africare invites qualified applications for the positions of Chief of Party, Deputy Chief of Party, Director of Finance and Administration and Director of Monitoring and Evalu- ation. These positions will be based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and they are contingent on award:
Deputy Chief of Party - Based in Dar es Salaam
Reporting to the CoP, the DCoP will be responsible for technical leadership of the program, ensuring the implementation of high-quality, evidence-based interventions, and management of technical staff and sub-partners to ensure quality, timeliness, and efficiency of all activities and products generated under the project. The DCoP will provide leadership and oversee program implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and learning, including documentation and sharing of best practices and approaches.
Chief of Party - Based in Dar es Salaam
Reporting to Africare'sCountry Director, the Chief of Party (CoP) will lead and manage the entire project operations. The CoPwill provide leadership instrategic planning and implementation to ensure the project delivers quality results in a timely and cost-effective manner. The CoP will be the key contact person of US AID and will take a leadership role in coordination among USAID and key stakeholders and other implementing partners. The CoPmaintains close liaison with USAID, Africare headquarters, Tanzania Government Authorities and Implementing Partners.

Director of Monitoring and Evaluation - Based in Dar es Salaam
The Director of Monitoring and Evaluation will report to the CoP, and will lead the design and implementation of Program Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Plan. He/she will design program information management system for tracking achieved project results and outcomes against targets, goal and objectives. He/she will lead overall data management, reporting and strategic feedback to the program stakeholders; coordinate operational research and promote knowledge sharing on best practices and lessons learned.
Director of Finance and Administration
Reporting to the CoP, the' Director of Finance and Administration (DFA) will be expected to maintain cordial and productive relations with all Africare stakeholders including the donor, government, collaborating partners, adequately espousing Africare principles at all times. The DFA will manage all accounting, sub-grants and ensure financial operations are in compliance with USAID regulations, S/he will be responsible for record-keeping, financial functions and internal control systems.
She/he, will provide concise and timely financial reports that will give an overview of the financial status of the award. Furthermore, the DFA will be required to assist the Chief of Party in ensuring full staff compliance with Africare's Policies, Procedures and Code of
Ethics; and the donor's financial rules and regulations.
