| Serengeti breweries Ltd (SBL) operates exclusively in Tanzania and is the 2ndlargest beer company with a market share of 28% and a leader in premium spirit category. It is integrated demand / supply business with 3 operational breweries in Dar es Salaam, Mwanza and Kilimanjaro (Moshi). SBL’s flagship brand is Premium Serengeti Lager, which accounts 50% of SBL sales volumes. The other brands are; Tusker Lager, Tusker Lite, Serengeti Platinum, Kibo Gold, Uhuru, Kick, Pilsner, Senator; while Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Tangarray, Baileys are some of the wide range of the Premium Spirits owned.

| The purpose of the role is to lead the visibility & Cold capability focusing on:
- To coordinate the creation, targeting, implementation and evaluation of the SBL national promotion programme while analysing competitor activity strengths & weaknesses and propose corrective action
- Design & develop BTL promotional plans and strategies for SBL, working in close liaison SBL brand team
- Develop and maintain a matrix of national promotional events by month, by brand, by region
- Manage the evaluation of all promotion activity, as agreed
- Generate new innovative promotion mechanics
- Develop sales team presenter materials for each brand and promotion activity
- Evaluate effectiveness of promotion activities in your area and report
- Conducting effective market visits and issue contact report after each visit
- Manage the ordering, delivery and distribution of promotion materials, sales aids and presentation items, in the right place, at the right time, at the right cost
- Manage & execute different trade activations & grow SBL share in the market in close liaison both SBL brand & Sales team

- Alignment and agreement on the objectives of Cycle Planning
- Support and agreement on key responsibilities and parameters
- Alignment and sponsorship of the stages of the quarterly planning cycle
- Agreement and support on the sign off of the quarterly plan and the role of the Exec and leadership teams if any changes are made outside of the timing windows

| Accountable for cycle planning process for Commercial and trade / customer marketing and is responsible for:
- Defining the process and getting sign off of activity to be delivered within each quarter (working and leading other relevant teams and people required to deliver the activity).
- Documenting, communicating, and running the cycle plan, including sign off and status updates with stakeholders and those directly involved in delivering the activity.
- Logistics and execution of the developing and delivering activity within the planning cycle.
- Ensuring that the balance of contributions and activity within the cycle plan is aligned to delivering our commercial and business objectives and any change to the signed-off quarterly cycle plan is business critical in nature and has the approval and sign off by the Exec, SLT and MLT. (I.e. don’t just do activity requested by those who ‘shout loudest’)
- Further to this, the CPAM is responsible for determining how requests for ad-hoc activities are dealt with (i.e assessing, appraising, rejecting etc).
- Ensure proper alignment with Sales team on Activation calendars, and bridge the gap between sales & agencies during activations

- Qualifications and Experience Required:
