Water Resources Development Specialist

We are currently seeking a Land and Water Resources Development Specialist for a long-term (36 months) Water and Sanitation Development Project in South Sudan with the following qualifications:

• M.Sc. degree in Engineering and/or a field related to water resources development/management from an accredited institution;
• 5+ years of experience working in South Sudan, or similar environment
• Minimum 10 years of experience in land and water management, including:
•  Addressing the physical aspects of water resources systems
• Infrastructural management interventions
• Integrated resources planning, development and management
• Participatory planning/programme implementation
• Experience in leadership roles and facilitating on-the-job training
• Strong English skills, including practical experience in report writing and developing/managing tenders
