15.1 TUTORIAL ASSISTANT: 3 POSTS
15.1.1 ATTRIBUTES
• Capacity for academic problem analysis and decision making
• Industrious and willingness to work in remote wildlife areas under demanding environment
• Proactive and visionary
• Understanding training quality principles and procedures
• Must be computer literate
• Customer-inclined individual
• Good interpersonal skills, integrity, role-model and mentor
• Not more than 35 years of age.
15.1.2 DUTIES
• Teaching up to NTA level 6 (Ordinary Diploma);
• Assists in conducting tutorial and practical exercises for students under close supervision;
• Prepares learning resources for tutorial exercises;
• Assists in conducting research under close supervision;
• Carries out consultancy and community services under close supervision; and
• Performs any other relevant duties as assigned by supervisor.
15.1.3 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIANCE
• Bachelor Degree (NTA Level 8) with GPA not less than 3.5 or its equivalent qualifications in a relevant field from a recognised University in the following disciplines; Wildlife ecology, Natural Resources Management, Wildlife Management, Wildlife Tourism or other relevant disciplines.
15.1.4 REMUNERATION
Attractive remuneration package in accordance with the Institution’s salary PHTS 4-7
15.2 ASSISTANT LECTURER: 3 POSTS
15.2.1 ATTRIBUTES
• Capacity for academic problem analysis and decision making

• Good interpersonal skills, integrity, role-model and mentor
15.2.2 DUTIES
• Teaching up to NTA level 8 (Bachelors Degree);
• Prepares learning resources for tutorial exercises;
• Conducts research, seminars and case studies;
• Carries out consultancy and community services under close supervision;
• Supervises students project
• Prepare teaching manual; and
• Performs any other relevant duties as assigned by supervisor.
15.2.3 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIANCE
• Masters Degree or equivalent (in the relevant field), with teaching experience of not less than 3 years and having published at least one paper in a recognised and reputable journal.
15.2.4 REMUNERATION
Attractive remuneration package in accordance with the Institution’s salary PHTS 8-9
