The Trade Development Representatives (TDR) will be responsible for growing sales of Mobile Money and other Public Access products in the assigned territory. The Trade Development Representatives will manage aspects of trade development, day-to-day management of existing and new partnerships for the specific territory. The objective of the position is to create and manage successful revenue generating relationships with new and existing clients; ensure growth of Mobile Money and other MTN Public Access products, services and solutions. The Trade Development Representatives will ensure that Mobile Money and Public Access products are properly and readily provided, Manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery to our Partners. The Trade Development Representatives will work closely with the Area Sales Representatives, to grow the Mobile Money product, its usage and other public access products with the aim of increasing market share revenue generation.
- Recruit Mobile Money agents, operators and vendors for all MTN Public Access Products.
- Train all agents, vendors and their staff on effective operation and usage of MTN Public Access products.
- Market and sell all MTN Public Access products.
- Ensure adherence and compliance to terms and conditions of operating MTN Public Access products and services.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
- Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up.
- Identify and resolve client concerns.
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closing and follow-up.
- Develop and implement special sales activities/activations to increase sales and product awareness.
- Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to the Regional account Manager.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
Necessary Qualifications:
- University Degree, preferably in Business Administration or development studies.
- At least 2 years sales experience in this area.
- Excellent Communication and training skills.
- Must be able to work independently, effectively prioritize, plan and execute work activities successfully.
- Valid Driver's License will be an added advantage.
- Must be willing to work in any part of the Country and be able to adapt rapidly to the assigned regions.
