Kigali International Arbitration Centre was created in 2011 by the Law No 54/2010 of 10/01/2010 with among other attributions :
To provide Arbitration Services and other friendly ways of Commercial Dispute Resolution
To provide facilities an assistance necessary for the conduct of domestic and international arbitration
To encourage domestic arbitration as means of setting commercial and business disputes
To advise the Government on matters related to arbitration
The Kigali International Arbitration Centre (KIAC) would like to recruit qualified candidates in following positions :
1. Legal Counsel
- Minimum a bachelor’s degree (A0) in Law;
- Experience of at least two years for a holder of Master’s degree in Business Law or Economic Law with ADR Knowledge and five years experience in a legal field with ADT knowledge and skills for a holder of a bachelor’s degree;
- Exposure to arbitration (Course or trainings) ;
- Demonstrated proficiency in work, Outlook and other computer software ;
Well organized with attention to details; - Demonstrated ability to read and interpret legal documents of varying type, adequacy, accuracy and compliance with law and regulations ;
- Demonstrated proficiency in customer service;
- Excellent knowledge of English and working knowledge of French and Kinyarwanda
2. Financial and Administrative Manager
- Accounting Professional ; Qualification recognized by IFAC (ACCA, CPA) with five years working experience or A0 Finance, Accounting, Management specialized in Finance/Accounting with five years working experience in similar position;
- Demonstrated proficiency of the use of Quick books and/or other financial software;
- Skills inhuman resources management;
- Excellent knowledge of English and working knowledge of French and Kinyarwanda;
- Experience in Project management is an added advantage
3. Marketing & Communication Specialist
- Minimum a Bachelor’s (A0) Degree in Marketing, Communication or related fields with minimum three years of professional experience in similar or related field;
- Well organized with attention to details;
- Demonstrated ability to be team oriented and work cooperatively;
- Excellent knowledge of English and working knowledge of French and Kinyarwanda
