Key Account Sales Manager (f/m) who will have responsibility for the geographic regionGermany.
This position is based in Frankfurt.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
  • Signing new retail agents in the Western Union network in key growth markets
  • Managing the relationships once agents are activated
  • Delivering growth in a number independent retail agents and mid-size accounts
  • Identifying opportunities for large, multiple-location agents for referral to the Regional Director
  • Developing insight on the market and competitor activity in the region
  • Responsible for identifying, prospecting, qualifying and signing small and medium key accounts in line with the sales strategy in the Region
  • Responsible for signing a targeted number of mid-size key accounts, revenue targets, transaction numbers and managing up the revenue generated in this network
  • Develop prospect lists that meet the criteria of high potential growth segments and geographic market areas
  • Secure quality networks made up of independent owner/operated businesses and SMEs. These account partners are the types of locations that attract and cater to some of our most valued customers
  • Developing relationships and networks to ensure continued business success
  • Establish standard processes and optimize agent partner fluctuation. Identify operational problems, and trigger solutions to support account activation
  • Key contact person for the Agent relationship management

Qualifications

  • 5 years of relevant sales & marketing experience (consumer service industry) in Retail Industry (Travel, Retail Financial Services, Merchant acquiring, Logistics, Retail supply chain, FMCG)
  • Proven track sales records & experience with selling products or services to small retailers, ideally with an existing portfolio/network of contacts
  • Logical approach to planning process coupled with relentless attention to detail and follow through
  • Experience in working with and managing and developing relationships with Agents
  • Proven Sales & Negotiation skills
  • Fluency in German respectively and good knowledge of English
