The Internal Audit Manager will support the Board and Directors in keeping the risk management process current and relevant, will implement an annual risk-based internal audit schedule and will extend the role by developing a broader risk and assurance assurance framework for the organization. The Internal Audit Manager will provide an important support and advisory role to the Heads of Regions and Countries, and is the independent contact for fraud and bribery investigations.
The ideal candidate will need to be a qualified or part-qualified member of a major UK accounting body. You will be experienced in internal audit work, risk appraisal and management techniques in an international context. You will have excellent communication skills, enabling you to communicate fluidly across functions and levels with tact and diplomacy and across cultures in a sensitive manner. Working for not-for-profit organisation with international organisations with overseas offices and writing of financial procedures is desirable.
