Leading the execution of the strategy in the areas of Factory, Supply Chain, Quality of Experience and Processes ensuring proper allocation of resources to meet categories, markets and functional requirements on time and at industry competitive cost and quality. Also responsible to provide input for the design of Global Operations Strategy, based on local technical and consumer needs.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and coordinate, aligned with the global operations strategy, the areas of Supply Chain, Technology Factory, Strategic Quality and Processes to provide global best in class network, processes and tools at the lowest possible cost.
- Implement and maintain the standard project management methodology for all relevant projects across the operation, not only for projects related to the operations area, but also for other areas such as markets, commercial and functional.
- Lead local execution of Operations area projects (especially regarding cloud, collaborative and centralized enablers) to ensure timely and on cost delivery.
- Responsible for talent and implementation of processes and tools to achieve best end to end quality of experience. This includes network and other pain points to achieve Nr 1 position in customer satisfaction index.
- Responsible to provide support and guidance to categories, markets, and other functional areas to implement and optimize effective processes in the whole organization.
- Achieve efficiencies by producing and executing cost saving initiatives.
- Deliver the product Roadmap on time in coordination with the global blueprint, ensuring adequate interfaces and implementation plan.
- Execute the billing process, implementing automation, consistency and timely delivery of invoices with superior quality and accuracy.
- Provide input to the global operations area, to continuously improve the global operations strategy based on permanent feedback, guidelines and bottom up projects to meet in-country needs.
- Be part of the global planning process and supply chain strategy, to meet volume discounts and other supp chain goals.
- Develop top leadership through selection, coaching, and reinforcement of the team.
- Ensure cross-functional as well as global-local cooperation and communication
Desired Skills & Experience
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in engineering (Telecommunications, Industrial or Computer).
- Preferably an MBA or Master’s Degree
- Solid English and Spanish Language. French language is a plus.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 12+ years of Managerial experience in MNCs or technology related companies
- Experience in managing teams in different regions/countries
- Focus on cross-functional teams
