Team Leader / Senior Highway Engineer

Position Description:
Registered Civil Engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering or Post Graduate in Highway Engineering with 15 years of cumulative experience related to road studies, designs.

He must have served as Team Leader or Senior Highway Engineer for at least 3 road projects involving Detail Design.

Salary Range US$ 4000 to US$5000 per month

The Candidates must have working experience of at least 3 years in Sub-Saharan African Countries and fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory

Transport Economist
Must have a post graduation in Economics with a minimum of 12 years of experience in carrying out socio-economic analysis of public investment projects.

She/he must have served on similar position in at least 3 projects of road investment studies in last 10 years. Knowledge and experience in HDM-4 model is required.

Salary Range US$ 4000 to US$5000 per month

The Candidates must have working experience of at least 3 years in Sub-Saharan African Countries and fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory

Highway Engineer:
Registered professional Civil Engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering or Post graduation in Highway Engineering with a minimum of 10 years experience in road studies and design.

Must have served as Highway Engineer on at least 2 road design projects.

Salary Range US$ 3000 to US$3500 per month

The Candidates must have working experience of at least 3 years in Sub-Saharan African Countries and fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory

Soils / Material Engineer
Registered Professional Civil Engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering or Post graduation in Geotechnical / Pavement Engineering with a minimum of 8 years experience in Pavement evaluation, materials testing, soils investigation and pavement design.

She/he must have served as Soils / Materials Engineer on at least 2 road projects in the past 10 years.

Salary Range US$ 3000 to US$3500 per month

The Candidates must have working experience of at least 3 years in Sub-Saharan African Countries and fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory

Topographical Surveyor
Position Description:
A degree in land surveying with a minimum of 6 years experience related to Land surveying activities.

She / he must have served as a Topographical Surveyor on at least 2 projects of Detailed Design within the last 10 years.

Salary Range US$ 2000 to US$ 2500 per month

The Candidates must have working experience of at least 3 years in Sub-Saharan African Countries and fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory

Bridge / Structural Engineer
Registered professional Civil Engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering or Post graduation in Bridge / Structural Engineering with a minimum of 8 years experience in studies and detailed design of bridges /structures.

He / She must have served as a Bridge / Structural Engineer on at least 2 bridge projects involving design of road bridges within the last 10 years.

Salary Range US$ 3000 to US$3500 per month

Hydrologist
Position Description:
A degree in Applied Sciences or a degree in Civil Engineering or Post Graduation in Hydrology / Hydraulics Engineering with a minimum of 6 years experience related to water / flood management schemes.

He /she must have served as a Hydrologist on at least 2 road projects within the last 10 years.

Salary Range US$ 3000 to US$3500 per month

The Candidates must have working experience of at least 3 years in Sub-Saharan African Countries and fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory

Environmentalist
Position Description:
A degree in environmental management or related discipline.

She / he must have done an EIA on at least 2 projects of a roads project within the last 10 years.

Salary Range US$ 3000 to US$3500 per month

The Candidates must have working experience of at least 3 years in Sub-Saharan African Countries and fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory

Sociologist
Position Description:
A degree in Social Science or related disciplines.

She / he must have done a SIA on at least 2 road development projects within the last 10 years

Salary Range US$ 3000 to US$3500 per month

The Candidates must have working experience of at least 3 years in Sub-Saharan African Countries and fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory

Resident Engineer
Position Description:
A Highway Engineer having degree in Civil Engineering with 15 years experience related to road / bridge design and construction.

He / she must have served as Resident Engineer or in equivalent capacity on at least 3 bituminous road construction supervision projects

Salary Range: US$ 4000 to US$ 5000

The Candidates must have working experience of at least 3 years in Sub-Saharan African Countries and fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.

Highway Engineer
Position Description:
Graduate Civil Engineer with minimum 10 years of specific experience in road / bridge design and /or construction.

He / she must have served in a similar capacity on at least 2 road projects for the construction of bituminous roads.

Should have experience in road surveys, construction of pavement structure, measuring of quantities and management of site operations.

Salary Range: US$ 3000 to US$ 3500

Soil / Materials Engineer
Position Description:
Graduate Civil Engineer with minimum 10 years of specific experience in pavement / materials matters related to road works.

Position Description:

Bridge / Drainage Engineer
Position Description:
Graduate Civil Engineer with minimum of 10 years of experience in bridge construction supervision. He / she must have served in a similar capacity on at least 2 road projects. Salary Range: US$ 3000 to US$ 3500

Electro-Mechanical Engineer
Position Description:
Shall be a registered or chartered Mechanical or Electrical Engineer or building Services Engineer, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification having minimum of 10 years of experience in design of building services of which 5 years in supervision.

He / she should be familiar with governing installation codes, practices and regulations Salary Range: US$ 3000 to US$ 3500

The Candidates must have working experience of at least 3 years in Sub-Saharan African Countries and fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.

Clerk of Work
Position Description:
A Graduate & Registered Civil Engineer with 6 years of experience in supervision / project management of roads, buildings and related infrastructure projects.

He / she should have worked as a Project Manager / ARE on at least 2 construction projects. Salary Range: US$ 1000 to US$ 1500

The Candidates must have working experience of at least 3 years in Sub-Saharan African Countries and fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.

Field Inspector
Position Description:
A full Technician Certificate (FTC) in Civil Engineering or degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 5 years experience.

He should have at least 2 years of road construction experience.

Salary Range: US$ 1000 to US$ 1500

The Candidates must have working experience of at least 3 years in Sub-Saharan African Countries and fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
