Brief Posting Description: To plan and execute both scheduled and adhoc audit assignments in compliance with the international standards for the professional practice of internal audit so as to bring about systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, controls and governance processes within KQ.

Detailed Description
Plan and Execute specific audit engagements within specified time budgets to accomplish the audit engagement plan.
Identify and profile various risks inherent in specific audit assignment, discuss them with the respective line managers and jointly agree on actions to be implemented for risk mitigation.
Identification of opportunities to add value through improved business efficiencies and effectiveness.
Prepare reports on audit findings and jointly agree with line managers on action plans to address identified risks and control challenges.
Maintain liaison with audit clients (line managers) to enhance the control environment within the company through regular follow-ups and consultation.
Prepare neat, detailed, understandable and cross-referenced work papers to evidence work done and for future references, in compliance with standards for professional practice in internal audit
Execute audit activities to ensure reliability and integrity of information and effective use of company resources and compliance with contracts, standards and policies.
Follow up audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation and action to mitigate identified risks.
Provide consultancy services to line managers on trends in airline industry and best practice.

Minimum Requirements
years experience in audit, finance or busy commercial environment
University degree
Professional accounting qualifications (CPA, ACCA or equivalent)
Internal Audit Certification (CIA)
Knowledge in use of CAATTS
Proficiency in IT
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of IFRS, company policies, procedures and rules Membership of ICPAK

Brief Posting Description: To maximize passenger revenues by proactively initiating, negotiating, implementing and managing the fare offering of Kenya Airways and Interline partners.

Detailed Description
Develop an annual pricing strategy to guide towards the growth of the airline’s market share, passenger revenues and Revenue per Available Seat Kilometer (RASK) in the assigned markets.
Review and analyze the company's product pricing compared to published and undisclosed prices of competitors in the market place.
Analyze periodic reports and make recommendations to the Sales Organization in order to meet network revenue and passenger targets.
Track historical customer demand through quantitative analysis to determine effectiveness of implemented pricing programs.
Coordinate fare audits to ensure approved fare levels are filed correctly in the booking tools.
Prepare and present periodic reports in order to guide the business.
Negotiate group rates, tour operator deals, consolidator packages with the sales organization to maximize revenue opportunities for the airline.

Minimum requirement
A professional degree preferably in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, Commerce and Engineering.
At least one (1) year of work experience

 in an Analytical area.
Ability to make decisions in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
Demonstrates ability to interpret data, affinity with numbers and able to draw implications and modify approach
Standalone team player and able to prioritize work with little supervision
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Excellent skills in analysis for high quality commercial solutions.

Brief Posting Description: To plan and supervise the execution of operational audit assignment so as to provide assurance to management and the Board to ensure risks are minimized and operations carried out effectively and efficiency.

Detailed Description
Plan, monitor implement and control operational audits to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of operations, adequacy and effectiveness of risk management processes, compliance with laws & regulations, and safeguard of assets.
Ensure implementation of ERM in group to ensure management and the Board understands sources of risks and how to manage these building for capability
Ensure implementation of CSA to equipment management with knowledge to assess business risks
Allocate resources to assignments to ensure effective execution
Review work papers to ensure conformity to standards for professional practice of internal auditing and meet audit objectives
Review draft audit reports to ensure conformity to internal audit standards and to meet target audit needs while adding value to the business.
Participate in client planning and close out meetings to agree audit objectives, scope and recommendations and implementation schedule
Develop, train and manage assigned staff
Follow up implementation of audit recommendation to ensure timely action and mitigation of identified risks
Participate in acquisition, implementation and sign off of IT projects to ensure resource optimization and integrity of process
Assist internal auditors in extraction and analysis of data using CAATTs to assist auditor efficiently

Minimum Requirements
At least 5 years experience in a professional audit firm with evidence of handling major operational audits successfully in a senior role
Solid knowledge of operational procedures, best practices and benchmarking methodologies
Knowledge process/people productivity
Experience in consultancy
Knowledge of Risk Management and CSA processes
Facilitation, interpersonal and communication skills
