- Investment Promotion, SME support, business climate change
- Human, Institutional and Organisational Development
- Systems Analysis and design/Business Process Re-Engineering

- Project Management
To succeed you will need to demonstrate a proven consultancy track record, including:
- Knowledge of the international customs and trade environment, including that of the East Africa region its regional integration process, and related initiatives, such as customs union and trade/transport corridor development.
- Minimum of five years’ significant project-based experience and track record of working at a senior level in the areas of expertise sought (ten years for team leader positions) and mainly within the East Africa region
- Good knowledge of the policy, international instruments (such as those of the WCO and WTO) and recommended international good practice relevant to the areas of expertise sought.
- Postgraduate degree or alternative postgraduate qualification relevant to the area of expertise sought.
- Experience in undertaking studies, analyses and/or assessments, and of compiling, writing and presenting clear and concise reports/documentation in English, to sometimes tight deadlines for an executive level audience.
- Good interpersonal qualities including flexibility, integrity and the ability to manage complex relationships.
- IT skills and proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
